006_bonfire_societies

There are many bonfire societies active across Sussex. Over the years, new societies have formed or rekindled (as Eastbourne did in 2001), and some have – sadly – become defunct, hopefully to rise again. You can find a comprehensive list of both current and defunct bonfire societies on Wikipedia, here.
