Did you know that Sussex Bonfire Societies raise tens of thousands of pounds for charity every single year?

Charity is a fundamental part of our tradition. Each year, EBS members select a local good cause to support, with donations collected on our Bonfire Night event shared with our chosen charity. To maximise community impact, we focus particularly on charities based in the local area, for whom even a small donation can make a huge difference.

At our March members meeting we invited six fantastic charities to present their good cause to our members, and we will make our selection in due course.

Although we are unable to support them all, they are all extremely worthy causes and we thank everyone who gave their time to come to speak to us.
