Our event is free for everyone, but we rely on community support to make it happen. Each year, we organise a torchlit procession, bonfire, and fireworks on the seafront. Our bonfire celebration is also part of a proud tradition that raises thousands of pounds across Sussex for local charities.

Visit the below link to donate directly to EBS, with 100% of your donations going towards funding our free public bonfire event. A minimum donation of £1.00 can be made online. Alternatively, we accept cash donations at any of our fundraising events across Eastbourne!

2. Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first to find the site you want and start shopping.
3. After you’ve checked out, the retailer will make a donation to Eastbourne Bonfire Society at no extra cost to you whatsoever! There are no catches or hidden charges and we will be really grateful for your donations.
Donate materials, prizes, or your time!
We appreciate that times are hard for many. As well as financial support, there are many ways other ways you can still help EBS. For example:
- Donating crockery for our crockery smash (no glass or PYREX, please)
- Donating teddies (in a good condition) for our teddy tombola
- Donating paints for our carnival float and effigy
- Donating prizes for our tombola
- Volunteering as an event marshal
- Volunteering to carry a donations bucket at our event
