Local Businesses – We Need You!

Everything we do is delivered by the community, for the community. We believe that EBS brings a vibrant, one‑of‑a‑kind event to Eastbourne, with our firework display often celebrated as the best in the town.

Attracting visitors from across the country, we play a meaningful role in Eastbourne’s tourism economy.

As the challenges of hosting community events continue to grow, it has never been more important for local businesses and community groups to work together to protect what makes our town special.

We are grateful for any support from local businesses and organisations. Whether through skills, materials, time, or visibility, your business can play a vital role in helping us deliver Eastbourne’s most vibrant community tradition.

Eastbourne Bonfire Event Programme 2026

Our popular event programme returns for 2026!

As a means of raising much‑needed funds, our full-colour, jam-packed Official Event Programme is sold both physically throughout the town and digital online. The programme includes an essential guide to the night to make sure everyone gets the most out of Eastbourne’s biggest community celebration.

We are once again pleased to offer advertising space to local businesses – your support will get you: which comes with the added bonus of promotion for your business across our social media accounts.

  • A quarter, half or full page, full colour advertising space within both our printed and digital programme
  • Promotion of your business and sharing of your advert across our social media accounts during the weeks surrounding the event
  • Promotion of your business via the supporters page of our website.

All money raised goes towards printing the programme or is reinvested back into the event.

The programme goes to print at the end of July so do not hesitate in booking your advertising slot today by contacting: ebsprog@gmail.com.

For those looking to make a bigger contribution, we also offer larger sponsorship packages, including prominent banners on our procession route.

The procession attracts thousands each year, with families, residents and visitors lining the streets to watch it pass by and a banner gives your business a clear presence at one of Eastbourne’s most well‑attended community events.

At the same time, your support helps us meet the costs of staging the night and keeping it accessible for the whole community.

If you would like to feature your business as an Official Supporter, please email ebspublicity@gmail.com.

Other Ways to Help Us

Can’t spare the cash? There are many other ways that local businesses can support our cause, including:

  • Providing materials: We are always on the lookout for wood suitable for our torch handles (free from nails, and able to be cut down to a square‑inch baton). We also often need paints for our effigy and china for our crockery smash.
  • Marshalling and volunteering: Our events rely on as many hands as possible, and we welcome support from staff teams or community‑minded businesses.
  • Providing prizes: Tombolas and raffles make up a significant part of our summer fundraising activities and prizes donated by local businesses are always appreciated.
  • Sharing our posts on social media: We are active on Facebook and Instagram, and rely on reaching all corners of the town to ensure our fundraising events are a success.
  • Trading at our Steampunk Event: We are always on the lookout for traders at our annual Steampunk festival, held on the Wish Tower Slopes in September.

Please contact ebssecretary@outlook.com if you wish to support us in any of these ways.
